Do mexicans see themselves as natives or do they see themselves as descendants of Spain?

I know I wasn't able to exterminate the whole native population, which was not my intention, My intention was to make them slaves for profitability, but many had died from diseases they were not immune too.....So Hispanics, do you see yourself as Native Americans or Descendants of ESPANA?
