Where to begin as a newbie to drumming?

Hola mis amigos! I'm a 16 yr old aspiring drummer. I just got my first drum set for my 16th b-day back in may. I got a Mapex (not sure which exact model jus know it's from the Q series) and threw a zildjian crash/ride cymbal and hi-hats up there. Since i've had my drumset its jus been sittin in my room. I have no clue where to start. I'm a complete NEWB!!! :(...I would get lessons but i don't have the money for that right now. I did buy Stones stick control and a practice pad and a metrenome, so i know i have all the equipment a beginner should have but i don't know what to do with it! So if anyone has any suggestions plz lemme know. Only nice comments plz 7:^)
