Why do people always call muslims terrorists?

i am a muslim and my friends call me terrorist alot. they dont mean it but they think its funny. i mean i say stuff like border hopper to the Mexicans and N*gga to the africans but we end up laughing in the end and move on with are day its the same thing every day and its SOOOOO annoying. they think muslims are the only type of terrorist
