Who named the Pacific Rim's Ring of Fire?

I need 3 more facts about the RIng of Fire and I thought of one. Who named it the Ring of Fire? And i need two others. I have that it is a horseshoe shaped and is 25000 miles long and about 90% of the worlds volcanos are in the RIng of Fire. Please help.
