Smiley piercing crooked?

After a few weeks of having my smiley pierced I realized it's crooked, you can only tell it's crooked if I have a "horseshoe" type ring in it. I don't want to have to re pierce it but I might because I don't like how it looks, the right side hole is higher up than the left. But it's not completely healed yet, do you think that could cause it to look crooked?
