Small dent forming underneath lip ring?

it sounds like it sinking into the skin.. but don't panic that's "usually' normal just push into it and do your regular cleaning routine. also try a saline soak it helps alot! if anything contact your piercer. dont freak though your mouth reacts to wounds (piercings) differently than the rest of your body. for example a small white ring might form. thats that how the lip heals. initiall swelling should take about 2 weeks to fully go down . in the meantime take iburprofen to speed up the process and suck on lots of ice.
