What am I suppose to do about this guy?

Alright so It's kind of a long story so I'll start from the beginning, Last summer (2010) I met this boy at the pool named Alex he was going to be a sophomore and I was going to be an 8th grader. we started talking and texting alot..meeting each other at the pool etc.. Well my friend kaylee who is also in my grade started talking to him as well...Things didn't end so great for me and she basically "won" Him then they dated an broke up like 2 weeks later. Anyways I hadn't talked to him since then and now it's Summer again and he decided to text me! We had been talking for a week INTIMATELY. Sending picture, sexting..and He told me he wanted to kiss me and that he wanted to hangout with me and all this other romantic junk..He was TOTALLY into me right?...Anyways I finally go to the pool an told him he should come so we could hangout..Now I'm chillen by the food court area cause my friend was hungry and she thought she had spot him out..so I'm all like lemme go cheak my phone to see if he texted me or anything..(cause I didn't wanna just go over to some random guy) I looked at my phone and I didn't have any texts so I assumed it wasn't him. Then I hear that Kaylee is at the pool and next thing you know her skanky *** is over there with him hanging out (And she has a boyfriend) So I'm like freaking out and I'm obviously not just going to sit around and mope. I get up and go over there and I'm like hey Alex and he's like hi..then he got all awkward and I was like Whatever and left. (cause he was with kaylee) And so Later that night He IM's me on facebook saying Hey acting like everythings all cool and junk! then I start yelling at hiim and we got in a fight and yada yada yada he didn't think he did anything wrong..even though he Freaking ignored me the entire time at the pool and hungout with kaylee! So...it's been 2 days now and I haven't heard anything from him..he hasnt texted me or anything! ans I REALLY REALLY just wanna makeup with him and start talking about but I don't wanna text him first casue then I'll feel like I lost..AND he'll think he can basically do anything he wants to me and I'll always come running back! In conclusion! I don't know How to start talking to him again..if I text him what am I suppose to say? what if he doesn't text me back? I'M SO LOST. Pleasee help!
